From 7 to 28 April, the Studios open to visitors the places where cinema comes to life. Exceptional admission to the public in: scenographic departments, equipment, Cinegarden and historical buildings.

From 7 April special appointments with the most secret places of the Cinecittà Studios come back, those reserved for “insiders”. For four spring weekends, and for the holidays of April 25 and May 1, visitors who purchase the Cinecittà Si Mostra ticket, which includes large outdoor sets and permanent exhibitions, will have an extra opportunity: discover the places where cinema comes to life.

In the company of qualified guides, guests will visit a different location for each weekend:

it starts on 7-8 April with the Cinegarden, where flower arrangements for cinema and television are born.

April 14-15 will be the turn of the Tapestry to discover statues, jewelry and objects of furniture of different eras and styles, from Imperial Rome to ancient Egypt;

on 21-22 April the rooms of the Cinecittà Presidential Palazzina will open to the public for the first time, a jewel of the architecture of the 1930s, where furnishings, scenographic sketches and scenic elements are preserved. To close the cycle, April 28-29, the Carpentry where a master craftsman will explain the work behind the realization of a scenography.

And for the Liberation Day and the Workers’ Day the appointment is with the Family Special Tours, which will see itineraries and ad hoc workshops designed for adults and children. Scheduled for April 25, a path focused on the mysterious sculpture of the Venusia by Federico Fellini (built for his Casanova). On May 1st the sets will be animated by a special tour whose main ingredients will be stories, secrets, film anecdotes and workshop activities.
